Kakunje Plastipacks Pvt. Ltd. is a manufacturer of blown polyethylene and polypropylene films, bags, liners and sheets headquartered in Manjeshwar.
Since our start in the early 90s, companies have turned to Kakunje for plastic bags and custom packaging solutions which protect their products from
harsh elements and ensure their products are away from harm’s way.
The Kakunje Group extrudes its own polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) film, bags and sheets. Since we are manufacturers, we provide our customers
with the lowest prices for high-quality products as well the best possible customer service. All our plastic bags are manufactured across Karnataka and Kerala.
We have four manufacturing plants across the two states which cater to various sizes, thicknesses and qualities of PE & PP.
The Kakunje Group manufactures all types of industrial plastic bags and films, including clear or colored plastic bags, bottom seal bags, liners, films,
specialty bags etc. We also manufacture countless other standard and specialty items. Some of our specialties include rolls or coreless rolls,
tinted poly film or colored film, poly bags, guzzetted bags, document pouches, arecanut liners, bin liners, note bands, anti-static bags and much more.

Kakunje group is a business group which is led efficiently by the able leadership of Mr. Balakrishna Bhat Kakunje since the early 90s.
Having envisioned the spearheading of plastics in the field of packaging, the first business unit was setup at Manjeshwar to gain the dual state capabilities.
Over a period of time, with the backing of Mr. Balarama Bhat Kakunje and Mr. Mithun Bhat Kakunje, Kakunje group spread its avenues and forayed into food and
agriculture and is now spread across Karnataka and Kerala with manufacturing capabilities ranging from Polythelene to Polypropylene and food businesses
ranging from corn retailing to fast food counters at malls.

Balakrishna Bhat Kakunje is the Managing Director of Kakunje Plastipacks Pvt. Ltd. and is the visionary leader of the Kakunje Group.
He had a vast experience working with an MNC before setting up the business plan for the Kakunje Group and has also widely travelled the
world acquiring the experience and skill sets requisite to leading an organization.
With his Spartan way of dealing with business obstacles
he paved the way forward on which the Kakunje Group is sailing smooth today. He is also the President at Kerala Plastic Manufacturers
Association and has presented innumerous seminars regarding plastics and the environment.
Balarama Bhat Kakunje is a Director of Kakunje Plastipacks Pvt. Ltd. and has been the stalwart back-bone of the Kakunje Group.
He has been striving to further the goals of the Kakunje Group ever since inception and it is his exemplary efforts which have brought
the Kakunje Group to the level it is at today.
He is also Managing Trustee at Sri Mahalingeshwara Temple, Badaje and is instrumental
in the recent vast development there.
Mithun Bhat Kakunje is a Director of Kakunje Plastipacks Pvt. Ltd. Having worked at HSBC Asset Management for about half a decade,
he has now integrated himself with the Kakunje Group.
He has given seminars and lectures at various colleges and b-schools on subjects
ranging from marketing to entrepreneurship, in addition to having acted in a Malayalam Tele-Serial.
Jose Sebastian is the committed and dedicated General Manager at Kaybees Marketing Associates. Having completed a diploma in Electronics in the year
1979, he started his working career in an electronic technical profile at Ranchi after which he joined Keltron as a Unit Supervisor in the year 1981
where he handled Planning, Quality Control and Production Administration.
With about seven years of Keltron experience, he then moved to Ponnani and
joined Kadbros Electronics Pvt. Ltd. as a Stores Supervisor and Excise & Customs Duty Specialist where he worked for about a year. In 1989 he commissioned
Badriya Paper Bags at Tirur as a Managing Partner wherein he handled end-to-end activities from the startup to commercial sales of the unit.
After putting in about three years of service, he then set up a trading & distribution unit at Payyannur named Susan Agencies, which he ran progressively
for about 20 years. During this time, he has also taken up the honourable task of being a Principal at Ampere Technical Institute,
Payyannur & Maxwell Technical Institute, Kanhangad and he was also an Electronics Instructor at Nirmala ITC, Paryaram.
He is now a tremendous asset at Kakunje where he is capably handing the responsibility of Marketing Manager and is handling the entire marketing
operations of the organization.
Kakunje has brought into the market a new product: Blue LD Tarpaulin. The tarpaulin is a result of deep study into customer preferences and likes, combined with product research which has culminated into the creation of the widely demanded Blue LD Tarpaulin. The Blue LD Tarpaulin is available in all the right sizes with excellent shear resistance and durability. This high level of durability is a direct result of the introduction of Metallocene in the production process. We have incorporated a lot of requirements from our customers within the Blue LD Tarpaulin. Extruded on a mono-Layer plant, it is both versatile and easy to handle. In order to achieve superior life under the extreme sunlight, we have added UV Stabilization to the Blue LD Tarpaulin.
